StockHolding Learning & Development Centre (SLDC) is housed
on the five-acre campus of “SHCIL House” at Mahape. The centre, which has state–of-art
facilities has been developed to offer focussed residential / non-residential training
programmes.
SLDC is a two-floor complex. It has a reception counter on the ground floor and
a spacious lobby on the first and second floor. On the first floor, it has Training
halls, Syndicate rooms, Faculty rooms, etc. And on the second floor it has Living
rooms which can house 48 participants on twin sharing basis. Individual Electronic
cards are provided to participants for accessing these living rooms. The dining
hall is adjacent to the living rooms providing utmost comfort for the participants.
The centre is under a three tier 24 hour security / surveillance. It has CCTV installed
throughout the complex. The centre has been built by keeping the ‘Green building
system’ in focus. It is fully energy efficient with Solar Power for providing the
electricity for hot water in bathrooms. It also has boilers which are powered by
electricity to provide hot water during the monsoons and generators for back-up
power supply. A Conference / Seminar Hall with state-of-art-facilities having sitting capacity
of about 200 participants is also housed in the campus.
